Darkthrone poursuit sur sa lancée "black n' roll" qui au final s'est révélée être un renouvellement efficace avec un nouvel album intitulé "Circle the wagons" défini simplement comme une rencontre de metal et de punk. Ce nouvel album a la particularité de sortir initialement en vynil. Cette version vynil sera disponible début mars directement via Peaceville et donnera l'accès à un code pour télécharger la version digitale lors de sa sortie. La version CD ne sortira qu'en avril.
